To take up promotional efforts such as capacity building, exposure visits, training, developing literature, etc. on WADI programme for the benefit of all stakeholders.
To support promotional activities for entrepreneurship skill development and Income Generation Activities for landless SC/ST communities and other weaker sections of the community in conjunction with the WADI development programme.
To promote supplemented and complemented intra-household equity by suitable interventions in credit and enterprise promotion among women.
To promote appropriate interventions efficient for water management and organic farming for food security of poor families round the year.
To promote village level local institutions and enabling conditions for strong and effective community-based livelihoods promotion.
To develop a strategy to use small-scale water-control interventions as the centre-pin of tribal agriculture development.

Mandradarha, Dabbipani, Jamgaon, Ghotiyawahi and Samtara villages of Narharpur Block of Kanker District in Chhattisgarh
Outcome
Plantation of 60 fruit plants each by 200 families
construction of new open/ring wells, ponds or renovation of dug wells or ponds in private agriculture land.
200 farmers supported with seeds, and they cultivated vegetables to meet their nutritional requirements at the household level.
Use of vermicompost and bio-fertilizer utilised for farming
